I used to get:

Popular Mechanics
Popular Science
Motor Trend
Automobile
Car and Driver
Road and Track
PC Magazine
PC Gamer
Computer Gaming World
Maximim PC
...and various others

But now, I find myself finding the same stuff on the internet much faster and for free. Hell, with my iPAQ 4150 and Avantgo, I have everything on the go at all times as well all in my pocket.

I still find it nice to sit down and have a magazine to read without having hte computer on and such. Its just a whole different activity.

Crap, that's a lotta magazines! I used to get PC World and Motor Trend (not concurrently) and now I just have a subscription to Time.

Yeah, I went that route for a while before I sold my iPaq.

And I got tired of dragging my PowerBook in there with me. :D

I agree wouldn't feel right taking a laptop or hand held into the can with me. I need my magazines Cars, Guns, Computers maybe if I had a 20 in flat screen in there I could do without them.

Seventeen, YM, Cosmopolitan, Cosmo Girl, Latina, Redbook and Working Mother.

I used to love it looking at all the ads and pricing computers. I used to like the column by Bill O'Brian and the lady whos name I've forgotten. They still sell it don't they? I thought I saw it recently but it was a lot thinner.

I used to buy around a half dozen magazines regularly. Computer Shopper, PC Gamer, Computer Gaming World, Maximum PC, PC World, etc. Now I don't buy any since I can look up reviews and articles online for free. It's not quite the same but it's good enough for me.

Only magazine I get now is a free sub to Electronic Gaming Monthly which I have no use for. They only cover consoles. :(
