I can't even get past the 5th post on most ATOT threads. I can't concentrate on anything anymore

It hasn't killed my attention span, but it has increased my desire to cut through the bullshit. Probably why I can't stand watching the news.

I think school has done more damage to my attention span then the internet. It has also killed my capacity to read books for pleasure.

I was always in trouble in grade school up until before I went to college because I had trouble sitting still for long periods of time without consistent physical or mental stimulation.

I wanted to find the image of a harlequin romance book, so I googled for "harlequin"
Apparently this word has several meanings, and one of them is really weird.

I think it definitely has had a negative effect, but that's my own fault.

Sometimes it has, like I got really irritated and quit reading about 4 lines into fleabag's post, but last night I spent about 7 hours reading an ebook on my phone.

Who here actually sat down and read through that post word for word?
I googled certain portions of it pretty quickly to make sure he didn't make it up, it's not a copy & pasta.
