Has skype call quality been going down the tubes lately?

While about 5-6 months ago most of my calls had phone-like quality, it seems like since then it's been slowly degrading. It got to the point where the last few weeks it was borderline unusable (both skype to skype and skype-to-phone). It almost seems like their network hitting capacity (I thought skype-to-skype calls didn't go through them at all).

Anyhow, it's a shame because a little while ago I used to think they were the only pc-to-pc calling service that gave you a pretty good quality.

I was using skype to call a friend over a LAN and play games and was actually having the same troubles. It might have been our network though as it is sometimes spotty. Mebbe we will try and use it again and see how it goes...
