I cant find the 2 liter bottle in either Giant Foods, Shopper Foods, or SuperWalmart in Northern VA.

Has it been discontinued in 2 liter form?

I'm more concerned with the disappearance of Mountain Dew Code Red...I can only find it in 20oz bottles around here (central CA).

Have you tried Pepsi Max? I thought it was pretty close to Pepsi One and is widely available.

Pepsi One and Diet Pepsi always tasted the same to me and were pretty much interchangeable when I used to drink soda.

Same for Diet Coke and Coke Zero.

Its available in cans here, but I haven't seen it in a 2L since I started buying it in September.

For me, I don't get diet or Pepsi Max or whatever because Pepsi One is sweetened with Splenda and Acesulfame Potassium which to the best of my knowledge have not been shown to be harmful, unlike drinks sweetened with Saccharin or Aspartame.

I love the Voltage stuff. It's super sweet and makes my teeth hurt.

Can't get that in the Netherlands :(

Instead only the awful tasting energy drinks. There was one which was ok, but they 'improved' the flavour, making it pretty much as awful as the rest.

Pepsi One is/was my favorite soda, period (perhaps excepting tonic water, but that goes with other things ;)). I don't think Pepsi Max is a worthy replacement for it. Diet Pepsi is much sweeter. I also appreciated the sucralose rather than aspartame as a sweetener. My consumption of soda will decrease as a result of the discontinuance. Curses!

BTW, since this is my initial post, hi to everyone!

was it discontinued? I'm actually drinking a bottle of it right now that I got from the vending machine at work (which is refilled twice/week)

Welcome! OP of thread here.

I always thought Pepsi Max stood for MAX caffine to compete with Mountain Dew?

If you think Diet Coke and Coke Zero taste the same, welcome to my ignore list. That's a STRONG indicator that you have a worthless opinion.

Yep, Diet Coke is the Diet version for "New Coke" that died and Coke Zero is the Diet version of Classic. They taste vastly different.
