Though I won't hold Kevin Spacey responsible by saying he made made the movie, but Outbreak sucked.

Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil 1997 *

I never dug it. Too long and and drawn out. Even with John Cusack, it just didn't do it for me.

<< I don't see the appeal of American Beauty. Personally I think it sucked.

ditto

The Negotiator was good, but i thought it was cause of samuel Jackson not Kevin Spacey.

<< Pay it Forward was a piece of crap. >>

Ugh I agree unfortunately b/c I am a Kevin Spacey fan as well.:( I don't think many have seen Consenting Adults. I watched it on TV last year and it was really interesting in a f*cked up way. I liked it. I hafta rent K-Pax one of these days.

Kevin Spacey was the guest when I went to a live Conan O'brien show once. He was so cool and funny! I remember he did a great Christopher Walken impression and was flirting with the other guest Christina Applegate.:p

Pretty close, anyway. :)

I didn't care for Pay it Forward. Outbreak, The Ref, and The Negotiator are some of my favorite Spacey movies. I haven't seen K-Pax or American Beauty because they looked dumb.

I just saw K-PAX... surprisingly good and no where near as sappy and smarmy as the trailers made it out to be. I recommend it.

Hmmm, if I am not mistaken...wasn't Kevin Spacey in that movie "Shipping News" ??? I heard that was pretty boring and bad. Didn't sell to well either.

I would say that he has made at least one bad movie. Kevin Spacey was in "Fall from Grace," a made-for-TV movie about Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker. Kevin was Jim; Bernadette Peters was Tammy Faye (come to think of it, the movie might have been more interesting if Kevin had played Tammy Faye and Bernadette had played Jim.) The actors were excellent, but the script was pretty poor.

I actually thought it was kind of drawn out too, but that didn't make it a bad movie. All the performances were great and the imagery was amazing, lots of colors and great looking shots. And even after watching it all the way through, I thought that the end result was worth it, making it a good movie. Not one of my favorites, but nonetheless a good flick.

And as for The Shipping News, I haven't seen it, but I have heard it is quite good, just more dramatic and based off actors' performances rather than action and "fun."
