There are a lot of teen and pre-teen kiddies on ATOT who like to criticize the older generations? They don't seem to like the way the oldsters walk, talk, drive or communicate on the internet.

These teenyboppers, who have never had to survive on their own are quick to point out the foibles of their seniors, but seldom, if ever, do they look at their peers who cause most of the traffic accidents, exhibit lack self esteem, or take responsibility for their actions.

Nobody wants to get old, but it happens to everybody except those who fall prey to Darwin's Theory. Think about it, those 'old' people managed to survive in times much more difficult than yours and, yet, they endevour to keep up with technology.

Will you survive the travails life puts in your path and, if so, will you still have the gumption to stay active and up to date with what is happening in the kiddies' world?

I'm just throwing this out there for you to chew on. You kiddies aren't all that compared to the seniors you make fun of.

HappyPuppy you've got it right. These young kids just don't get it. We can't bust heads like we used to. But we have our ways. One trick is to tell stories that don't go anywhere. Like the time I caught the ferry to Shelbyville. I needed a new heel for m'shoe. So I decided to go to Morganville, which is what they called Shelbyville in those days. So I tied an onion to my belt. Which was the style at the time. Now, to take the ferry cost a nickel, and in those days, nickels had pictures of bumblebees on 'em. Gimme five bees for a quarter, you'd say. Now where was I... oh yeah. The important thing was that I had an onion tied to my belt, which was the style at the time. You couldn't get white onions, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones...

Hmm quite to the contrary, the majority of bitching I hear on ATOT is from the older generation complaining about how this generation is going to hell in a handbasket. I guess if kids dont need to walk uphill both ways to school they'll never amount to anything.
