You guys really need to give it a break. I don't care if you support Bush or not, its really getting old hearing everyone slam him for his IQ/speaking skills etc...

Its like the little kids on the playground, they think its the 'cool' thing to do.

Oh, and not defending him but... I'd like to see you give a speech with millions of people watching and not be nervous/stutter or mis-pronounce something.

He is the president of the united states and the leader of the free world. The only thing wrong with slamming him heavily for it at every opportunity is that we become accustomed to it and lose our sense of outrage.

But I guess you'd be cool with a black president who spoke ebonics, right?

If he does such a bad fvcking job lets see you run for political office and do a better job. Its easy to criticize when you aren't in his position.

And besides, there are worse things in the world than having a president that isn't a great public speaker.

You missed a question.

No, it's easy to criticize him when he's a fvcking moron.

Shall I take this as your announcement that you will, here and forevermore, refrain from criticizing any person when it can be said that you are not "in their position"?

I'd really like to stalk you around the forum and post your quote after every mindless opinionated post you make about subjects you have no experience in, but I'm afraid I'm just too apathetic for that.

If you could just promise to never have an opinion on or be critical of anything which you lack intimate knowledge, it would save me a lot of trouble.

Yeah, gotta love how Bush signed a bill to spend a whole bunch of money on building new highways, and now with gas prices so high, no one can afford to drive on them.

Heh
I missed it but I saw him once
He was talkin to the SK president about NK
While the SK pres was all serious about the situation, Bush asked him if he was hungry and talked about food 😛

Let me answer your ridiculous question. No, I would not be ok if a black president spoke in ebonics. I'm not sure how that has any bearing on your argument though. Preisdent Bush may not be the most well spoken person in the world, but he is no where near ebonics. Of course, someone who has his mind set on insulting the Pres no matter what would surely make asinine comparisons such as that.

As far as being critical, well I have no problem with that. Hell Im very critical of people, go read the other threads Ive posted in. I have very little sympathy for many people. But that does not mean I will jump on the band wagon of insulting people just because it is the 'cool' thing to do. And I will not insult someone if they are doing the best they can.

See, the problem isn't that you are being critical. The problem is that you make over-exaggerated remarks about mistakes that are minor at best. If you don't believe me, let me quote a few people from this thread.

He can't even come up with a coherent sentence without squinting his eyebrows in five minute pauses.

So what, the guy pauses from time to time to regain his train of thought. He does have a couple million people watching (and criticizing him). And last I checked, his sentences were pretty decent. Maybe not top notch, but certain above ebonics.

The man has the IQ of a peanut and watching him speak is like watching grass grow, with the occassional headshake.

So he isn't the smartest president we have ever had. He's no Clinton, we all know that. Fortunately though, he doesn't have to be a brain surgeon. Thats why he has a cabinet of advisors, the senate, house of representatives, and all those other government officials to help out. I highly doubt he is as stupid as a peanut though. Infact, Im willing to bet he is more intelligent than quite a few people.

Bush is so stupid I swear. He also always says "There's no doubt about it" yet it's always a lie.

What do you want him to say? We are fvcked, gas prices will skyrocket until the American economy fails, and you will certainly die? So what, we have a president who tells us everything is going to be ok during a major disaster. Big fvcking deal.

I'm not saying Bush is the best president ever. Far from it. Hell, I am very critical of a lot of things he does. But its very fricken annoying to see a thread full of childish over-exaggerated insults EVERY SINGLE TIME Bush is mentioned in a thrad. Seriously guys, give it a rest. You aren't cool because of it.

I read somewhere that he has now spent 20% of his 8 years in office, On Vacation.

He hasn't been in office 8 years. Must have been BS what you read.

Are you that dense? He's serving two 4 year terms, totalling 8 years. In that, so far he's spent 20% on vacation. It's not that hard to figure out.
