Has Arnold Schwarzenegger LOST IT?

He's definitely getting too old. His movies are just not believable anymore. Also, every one of his movies are all the same type of movie. I think after a while you just start getting tired of the same idea rehashed over and over again.

Thats because he was in some really cool movies early on, especiialy Conan. Then the producers said, screw the script and story, if Arnold is in the movie, it will make money. Then a few movies bomb, then he scores a hit, then the cycle repeats. The same thing happened to Eddie Murphy (Golden Child, Holy Man, etc.).

Are the muscle bound Actions stars DYING?

Now THATS a good question.

And the answer is yes

<< Are the muscle bound Actions stars DYING? >>

Good question. There sure doesn't seem to be anywhere near the number of action films we used to have back in the 80s and early 90s. While I know they'll never die out totally, I'd hate to see action films go the way of the Western.

WOW! A lot of quick responses before I could finish typing my two sentences. Tex beat me to it.

The whole action movie genre seemed to have changed after The Crow in '94. Rather than being one muscle bound guy with a machine gun... now its the "normal" guy in abnormal situations. I'm not saying that one man vs. the Columbian Drug Cartel is normal, but you get the picture. Now the action genre seems to have more or less integrated with the thriller genre in that it more involves things in the paranormal, high-tech, or conspiracy arenas rather than the "YOU KILLED MY BROTHER" scenarios.

when i heard they might make make a new Conan i was like sweet, but then i was thinking, its been 20 years since the first one, i don't think arnold could do it again, and it would absolutly suck to have a different conan

I prefer Ashley Banfield over Maria.

Hehe, I like that movie, as simplistic as it is. 😉

Maria Shriver looks like Skeletor..

The last really good movie he made was True Lies. 6th Day was mediocre, End of Days was mediocre, and I haven't seen Collateral Damage.

Is it a coincedence that some of Arnie's best movies were made in conjunction with James Cameron? I think not. That's why I have low hopes for T3 (no Cameron) and high hopes for True Lies 2 (Cameron, and the entire cast from the original).

Maria's a commie?

her father sure is.

As for Arnie, I think hasn't done anything good since True Lies. The only movies coming up (maybe) that I'm hopeful for are Conan 3 and Crusade. T3 is gonna suck.
