How is OpenOffice database access compare to MS-Access?

So far I?m very happy with OpenOffice Text, and some what please with Spreadsheet. However, I am having trouble understanding the Database part of OO (weak documentation).

OO Database is not thing like MS-Access; and so far I can?t find the tool in OO that comparable to MS-Access Relationships tool.

Is there such an animal in OO that make life a lot simpler?

I haven't used it, but I've seen it in action at a local CompUSA. BTW Office XP is pretty cheap for college students why not just stick to the standard?:)

That's amazing, because last I heard, Access is a database and SQL is not.

Depends on which college you go to, anywhere from $5-300
