Has anyone tried out the leaked Kyro II drivers. I found them here
Windows 2K
Windows 9.x
Windows XP

If you've heard or know anything lmk

I've been using them for a few days,performance picked up a bit still has the texture problems but from what I understand there not the finals.....Or at least I hope not There a little touchy for some people installing it seems but they stuck on the second try here. Remeber there's no support for betas so its a leap of faith. The OC tab is cool no more 2nd party reboot tweakers.

How much RAM do you have Mykex because I had a problem whenever I had more than 256 megs of RAM in my machine. I was hoping it'd get cleared up with this upcoming patch? Have any idea how long till they're actually released?

I'm one of the lucky ones running 768Mbs even with 7.114s ,I thinks its cause I have an older KT133 686a.

EDIT: Oh,No idea on the time of official release,there seems to be no hurry pulling these down so maybe there close or,just shutting guys like me up.

I just tried out the beta kyro 2 drivers during my lunch hour!

Dronez benchmark:-

640x480x32bit = old drivers=56fps beta drivers=62fps
1024x768x32bit = old drivers=56fps beta drivers=60fps

I'll do a proper test when I finish tonight!

From what I just heard the official drivers are alot better than the beta drivers with lots of new fixes and features, nobody at powervr will comment on the new features or when they will be released, they did say that the offical drivers will be released shortly.

I've been told that Videologic have just uploaded some old/new drivers? (probably just repackaged!)
