Has anyone tried the body for life program here?

my neighbour tried it for 4 months... i guess he was around 240-250 when I was out of town for university....... and when I first saw him when i was back in town, the first thing i said wasnt "hey man" but rather "holey sh!t man, you have lost some serious weight!!!"

he looked SO slim compared to the image i had in my mind, he lost around 35 pounds i think.

but you have to work for it, because he said he wanted to try it again for another 4 months but he wasnt sure if he could do it again... go figure

but if you do as they tell you to do, it does work

Yes it works. I have down about 25 lbs over the past few months. Body for life is not much more than eat right and exercise.

..which are the hardest parts of loosing weight and the reasons I will always fail :| 🙁 ..if I (and I propably will) continue with my current eating & exercising habits I'll be dead in few years, but wachagonnado.

I don't use it because of my Phys. Ed. past already taught me these things. But my older brother has successfully been slimming down alot this last two months. He was mid-300's and is in the low 300's now. His "old" pants actually fall off his waste, I mean the ones he wore when he was just in the high 200's. Its more attitude than just exercise and diet. It is working for just about everyone I've seen use it.

I've seen alot of people lose weight one time or another. Its post-weight loss that is when you see if it works or not. Hopefully my brother is taking his health serious for the long term.

gawd, after reading this thread i think i need to re-read the book.

it is just basically eat right and excersice, but he makes it straight and simple.

i was doing body for life for a while but i wasn't eating right, which is why i gave up. Now i definately have to do it the right way so im gonna read the book again soon!
