Has anyone tested how dustfilters affect cpu temps - +2c - +3C ???

I just put my first one in an hour ago, and it has not changed at all. Luckily, the heatwave is gone and temps are normal again. I was hitting 60c for the cpu on my A7V (with FOP32) and had to clock down to normal and was still at 55c.

Room temp is now 70f and cpu is 46c. I also lapped the heatsink a little to get rid of the ridges I could feel with my nail, and that seemed to drop 1 degree or so.

Whisper fish tank filters work for me.

wow! that's hot! during the heat wave my room temp was 80-82F, the case was 27C and the CPU was 40-41C, as reported my motherboard monitor. today my case is 22C.

I water cool and I used a furnace filter on my radiator (only intake in the case) and it hasn't effected the temp at all.

In the long run, filters can only HELP. Since they prevent dust and other junk from collecting on your HSF. I swear, my cpu temp dropped 2Cs after I cleaned my whole case out with compressed air.
