She actually likes the clean look.

After I was done with everything in that room she said it looked nice.

I'd certainly be open to dressing it up a bit though. Of course the area above the fireplace is spoken for ;)

The reaction when I first showed my gf a pic was great.
I think this is the one I showed here http://s92486709.onlinehome.us/images/TV/SVS.jpg

LOL, that GameCube looks like a LEGO square compared to the sub!

Yeah, she was not prepared for it.
I think that's a 16-46 though, so it's 7 or 8 inches taller than mine is.

I never underestimate the ability of women to underestimate audio capability.
The first time she borrowed my car I told my wife the dual JL subs in my car can induce bowel-releasing amounts of bass if you bring the volume over 20 and don't turn the bass level down first, so use the deck's knob (slower), not the remote's (ridiculously fast). Either she didn't believe me or forgot, because I could hear her screaming from the driveway when she turned the volume up - via remote of course. When she came in the house, I though she actually had shat herself. Ends up it was her coffee that got tossed out of the center console and onto her lap. As a plus, she no longer uses my car anymore.

no, it's gone

is that one of the automatic fish feeders for your aquarium?

Yeah, it is. I'm not too impressed with it yet, but I mostly just got it to feed the fish while we're away from home for Christmas. I have a feeling that they're going to be very overfed, though, because it's tough to adjust. Oh well. It was a lot cheaper than the digital ones.

We bought one right before thanksgiving that looks the same, it has a little white panel on the inside that you can adjust and it's supposed to adjust the food quantity. It seemed to work fairly good, that is until my 4 year old took it apart and fed the fish a sh1t load of food.

That's the 8" Logitech z-560 sub.

Thanks!

I'm still in shock though. I ran some tests on my sub today, and it officially sucks. Here is what it did during the THX optimizer test, going down from 200Hz to 20Hz

DDDDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooo---o-----------o-------------o-o-------------

I want a SVS for Christmas. (I'm hoping for the 16-46 non plus, but thats wishful thinking. Even the 25-31 would be an improvement.)

Well human hearing is less sensitive to lower frequencies, so even if you do have a sub that's going really low, it is going to sound weaker as it goes lower even it's putting out the same SPL.

Thanks. It's my gf's frame and my 10" foam mattress vs the pos that usually comes with futons.
