I think that movie is a excellent aspect of what a ravers life is truely like. Except the gay parts which occured. Don't see that at many raves. But besides that... I was wondering if you guys saw it, and saw the main guy who threw the rave. He was wearing a black shirt with white letters that said "BPM." I was wondering if any of you knew where I could possibly pick up the shirt. Thanks!

eh. people over generalize raves/ravers. in general, the people that were the founders of the community have almost all disapeared, and the scene has taken on a whole new ideal, music, and attracts a different crowd.

the recent popularity of the scene has killed it. it is strangling it and cutting off its air. its a sad state to see what has happend, after seeing it in its hey day. i mourn the loss of innocence and purity of the vibe.there is a reason why you don't see many old schoolers at parties anymore, but see crazy amounts of candy kids and ecko kids. its sad how the scene has become a bad drug fest of x, k, and smack. not to mention are people conforming to become cliques within the scene. its horrible and it tears my heart.

many people will refute what i have just said, but i will bet that they haven't been partying for longer than a year. i have 4 under my belt, going on 5. i was lucky enough to catch the tag end of the greatest party scene ever. i have partied all along the east coast, from conn to fla, and have partied my fair share in chicago and indiana. this isn't some localized thing. what ever happend to live producing? all i see now are monkeys on turntables. what happend to the venerable 303 being a staple of equipment? what happend to the $5 entrance fees? what happend to the incredible venues, that were creative, and new every time? why has the focus moved from the vibe to the legality and profit?

tonite i turned down free admision to the boogie tribe show featuring names such as armand van heldon, rabbit on the moon, krs one, etc. why? cause boogie tribe shouldn't be promoting at all. they asked the police to arrest me at their last party when i asked to go back in and get my car keys; and was then forced to run off the premises because the police said if i wasn't off the premisis in 15 sec they would arrest me for tresspassing. they counted down and chased. the promoters got a good chuckle, as did the police.

its common knowledge that e / x / rolls / pills / ecstasy has become the obvious drug of choice at what are now called "raves". no matter what you may hear to the contrary; it is an absolutely evil substance. if you want me to tell you more WHY just email me as i'm not to sure the mods are too comfortable with discussion of illicit chemicals on the boards.

romanticizing and justifying faults in the scene today isn't worth the air it takes to say it. when you take a real honest look, you will see past the shiny bright cover, and see the old whithered blank pages inside.

ok, finally saw the movie! great movie, the music was awesome but i was reading reviews on amazon.com and people say not all of the music is there so i don't want the soundtrack anymore...

amazon.com sells the DVD here and under the features, it says Isolated Music Score...do you think that would have all tracks from the movie? and would there be any way i could burn it onto a CD? i'm planning to buy this DVD anyway, but if that Isolated Music Score thing is for real, that would be a real plus...

I'm gonna have to agree with eakers.
I heard the soundtrack before I saw the movie. I fell asleep about 20 minutes into the movie.
