I've used some that cause a surprising amount of splatter. For the most part though it's how fast you let the pee shoot out. If you just unload on the bastard full force of course it's gonna hit you in the face. Meter it out, gentle stream, etc.

The one at work has a rounded shape that seems to direct all splash further into the toilet. I tested with different directions and angles and couldn't get any splash to come back out.

You're a looney.

I know it was TMI, but don't act like you wouldn't have done the same when faced with this technological marvel.

At some theatre in Branson, Missouri, they put crushed ice in the urinals. No splash whatsoever. It was also fun to try to melt as much ice as possible.

The smaller the orifice the higher the pressure.

OP has a small peehole.

Stop crawling into the urinal to pee and hit the back wall low at a steep angle. Don't blast the back wall at 90degrees.

Toilets are sometimes worse when it comes to splashing, but maybe thats because I'm tall (6'1''). I just posed this question because it surprises me that there are no cheap solutions to solve this problem. Someone mentioned a rubber flap, but couldn't really find anything readily available like that. I tried aiming at about 6 inches from the drain. I still got splashed sometimes although less than aiming randomly. It seems that my penis is just good at "releasing" with force. Pee is not the only thing that comes out with force....

There are certain ones that I've seen that have more efficient bowl designs, but nothing's splash-less without ice or direct drain aimage :p

I have recently seen ones that are flush-less though...a weird coating or material makes every last drop run to the bottom of the bowl, it's kinda weird to look at while you...go.

Just pee in your pants. Saves time and energy, and you don't have to worry about people bugging you all the time.

Yeah, I've seen the flush-less ones too, it's pretty odd. I wonder how much it costs compared to ones that flush, and how much they save in water costs, repairs to piping for water, etc.

You get pee all over yourselves when you use urinals? Are people really that stupid that they can't prevent splashing pee with proper aiming?

i've been to places where the urinals have mats in them that are supposed to keep from slpashing... they don't work too well tho, imho. it's the same as if it's a regular urinal... so i try to avoid it and aim at the sidewall of the urinal... less angle = less splash

Aim to the sides.

It's more physics than art, really.
