Has anyone seen any info indicating when we will see OCed X1800XT 256 meg cards on the market?

Since ATI recently announced it will let it's partners sell OCed versions of it's cards to keep competetive with Nvidia, the mid range is getting pretty interesting. The X1800XT can reportedly get to 790/1800 on stock cooling for some users. This would pretty much smoke a max OCed 7900GT. If price trends continue and OCed ATI cards are available for sale, to compete with Nvidia, it's possible we could see heavily OCed 256 meg X1800XTs in the $250 range very soon which I would probably want to go with as my next card, especially if one comes bundled with Oblivion.

Well right now you can get a Sapphire X1800XT 256mb for $299 from Newegg (see my sig). Using ATi's OC utility to change your voltages and overclock your card, you should see some great results with it. Here's a sample of what some people have gotten with an X1800XT:

nunyabiz: 730/828

Vogon 729/792

Bufonius 720/800

DooMeous 730/846

eva200 750/890

Grov 730/870

Of course with OC'ing YMMV but all of those results are just from a single thread I found. Also, Asus has an OC'd version of the 512 X1800XT called ASUS TOP but personally I'd rather just get the $299 version and OC it and save the cash for something else.
