One of my favourite movies. I used to wear the whole costume for Hallowe'en in the mid 70s. The soundtrack is brilliant. :)

It's a tour de force, a non-stop rollercoaster, a instant classic, a non-stop thrill ride.

It's one of my top ten favorites.

I read the book in high school, then saw the movie.

Isla,

No pic. And my mom has the only pic of me with my 12" afro. She won't give it to me so that I can destroy it. :p

Its pure genius. Watch the special edition directors cut DVD for the super badass crazy version.

There's only been one DVD release, and it sucked balls. I'd hardly call it a special edition. It's full-frame (matted for theatres), with zero special features (oh, sorry there is a trailer... BFD). The transfer is decent but nothing great. It's also not a director's cut. It's the same old version. It is very explicit, but so was the original movie (I believe it's still banned in the UK).

The only reason I own the DVD is because I love the movie so much. However, new editions of all the Kubrick films (well the ones in the box set anyway) have been announced, so if I were you guys I'd hold off until they're available.
