Has anyone replaced an ipod touch screen?

I have a 3g 32 gig that has a cracked glass but it works fine. I have seen kits on ebay, some for 26, others for 13 and both appear to come with the same stuff. What do I need to be looking for?

i have one sitting on my bench at home waiting for time to replace. its an actual itouch tho, not a 3g iphone. not sure how they differ, but there are a ton of vids available to show how its done.

i got a kit off amazon for like 15 or so, came with the tools, adhesive strips and the digitizer

You need the glass, a screwdriver, a suction cup, a hair dryer, an xacto knife, and I would recommend rubber gloves, and 90%+ isopropyl alchol.

Any kit you get should come with the adhesive and the glass at least, anything past that is probably a bonus.
