I dont know if they have started to change or not but i ordered from them before not knowing they had a bad rep, but i was pleasantly surprised when i got my ram and gladiator from them in 4 days and i live in canada!
They answered my questions quickly but now im worried after reading this post!
I read 3 reviews on their ram and it got rave reviews so im wondering if the 166 ram i got is garbage?
And i was suppose to get a 36cfm fan with my gladiator but i got a top motor df1206bh and while it could be 36 cfm i can't figure out if it is or not cause they didnt return my e-mail when i asked about it!
If someone can help me figure out what the cfm or rpm of this fan is i will start goin to compuwiz next time! as steve answered all my questions and helped me even though ive never bought anything from him.
P.s-Steve i will be buying a 1500 to 1600 when i get a better mb. Maybe i wait for that nvidia nforce thingy, hehehe.

hey compuwiz guy - when I click on your web page on my college pc it doesnt connect. Got another link?

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>. Compuwiz, I did look at your site, however your prices are a tad higher than average which doesn't work for me ( <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

a tad bit higher for a much better product . IMHO

getting ready to buy another one, and I know exactly where I will go 😀

I would take the amount of negative responces to heart but...
I have ordered from them twice a GFD and a Gladiator. In both instances it went extremely well.

I guess ordering from them is like playing Russian Roulette 😉. Remember, if all else fails call your credit card company and demand action. They will help you get the issue resolved and even act as a mediator (my fav. is AMEX). If they are doing all this to their customers the business is bordering on being fraudulent IMHO...

I might order a gladiator from them just because its the only place I know of that carries it and doesn't take 5 days to process an order. Anyone know another, reputable place, where I can obtain a gladiator?

I have not ordered from them yet, however, they are in the same city as me, and I know where to go to get them.. Anyone who would like to have me go kick some a** let me know 🙂

i had to threaten them with a lawsuit to get my order shipped....i got no return phone call no return e mail till i got ugly witht htem...so as far as i am concerned ...even if they were selling 10ghz chips ....screw em....freaking idiots...and all they are selling you is a cpu that you can buy any where and overclock....the "enhanced memory"...lol...yeah right...buy crucial or if you feel like spending money get mushkin. OCZ is B*LLSH*T.....but thats just my opinion

Hey if you know how to OC...then you would just buy a chip from newegg.com or find a site where they have sell the cpu's according to their stepping. Why pay the extra bucks then?

If you are not experienced with OCing or don't know how...then maybe you should buy a pretested cpu...but i think your safest bet would be to get it from compuwiz. Sure it's a few bucks more...but do you wanna risk messing it up on your own...at least compuwiz you'll get a quality chip that has been tested and not traces of pencil all over you're chip. Besides, you'll know your max on your cpu and you won't end up frying the damn thing...unless you do soemthing really stupid. Plus he'll help you out here in the forums if you need help setting up the OC. Cool thing is...he'll help you out whether you buy a chip from him or not. Do not buy from OCZ...just by this statement "Tbird 1000 NEW AXIAR -Stepping , THESE HAVE BEEN HITTING UP TO 1666 " i think they are not a legit business that you can get quality products from. That's a huge laugher.

yep.. check resellerratings. they have gotten some good ratings. perhaps everyone will go back? haha, i bet they just rated themselves.

Yeah actually I didnt care a bit about the overclocked part, since I know how to oc etc etc. But for 180 bucks I figured, heck, same price as newegg for a 1.4, and it must be an ayhja Y. What interested me was the warranty and the heatsink. But I wont be buying anything from them now, damn they sound horrible... thanks for the crazypc link.

well newegg has set me up with three cpus in the last month that all clocked well...maybe i am just lucky i dunno....but latest is a 1.4 that runs at 1600mhz no problem...had a 1.33 doing that and put in another system i built for someone....i just wish the palominos would hurry the hell up...lol...got to be the slowest horse on the planet...lol

I didn't read the rest of the thread. As far as service goes, I talked to Ryan (the owner) about a discount for reviewing it for HardwarePub.com, and I got some pretty heavy discounts. I also mentioned that I had Micron in my system and I wanted to know if the 256mb pc133 I was ordering could be Micron as well. Ryan, as well as Roy (a sales guy), both promised Micron. What did I get? PC-Com generic that doens't run at it's full speed. I know, I know I should return it, but it's not worth my time.

I actually tried buying some RAM from them, and it all came! That was surprise #1. Second surprise was that... IT WORKED! Not bad, but I don't think I'll order from them again (bad customer support!)

I might order a gladiator from them just because its the only place I know of that carries it...

Why buy a gladiator from a suspect outfit when you can buy an SK-6 from someone like Plycon. They emailed me when mine shipped, beat the anticipated delivery date by a day and followed up to be sure I got it and was satisfied. Which I am...750 PIII @ 1000 and 1GHz PIII @ 1200...for example with the SK-6. Never could get near those with GlobalWin or others.

If Steve(compuwiz1) says it will do a certain speed it will guaranteed and the nice thing is..he backs up what he sells 100%..good choice and enjoy...
