Has anyone played Halo for PC yet? How is it?

Beta is the only thing 'out' and its a beta not worth judging.

Correct. I..have played the beta, and I like the game. Aside from performance (since it is a beta) it shows great promise.

I must be the only one who thinks Halo ain't that great. It was a big hit on the XBox just because it was an ok shooter on the console platform which had never happened before. I played the XBox version and I'm not much more impressed with the PC version so far in Beta. The action is predictable and repetitive, the gameplay is extremely linear. With the beta it is unplayable at 1280x1024 with a 9800pro and XP3200...800x600 is still a bit choppy in some sections. The textures are some of the best I have ever seen though. Overall not impressed. Probably will not purchase it, or play beta any further than the opening segment.

Your money is much better spent on Tron 2.0 I'm loving that game.
