Sorry for double posting, put this in the wrong forum I accidentally put this in the "motherboard" forum and I am trying to get in the a8n specific forum:

Hello everyone, Ive held back on posting every issue I've had to deal with board, but now Im stumped.
Back in the days of the various bios 1003's I was able to get 250x4 htt 1T 1:1 prime stable.
But it seems every bios since then has locked my htt to x5 as I am now on 1007.02.
N-tune (which I aviod like the plague) shows x5 even though bios is set to x4, and so I changed it to x4 in n-tune and although sandra shows the FSB speed reductions, it still gives me 6800/6900 mem benchmarks whether x3 x4 x5 so I dont n-tune can change it either.
At x5 I am limited to 233 1T stable and as principle, I only run 1:1
Any work-arounds or Ideas
