Has anyone noticed the cover of US news?

Seems unfair that they would have John Kerry facing to one side in a coat and all RED, while Bush is in military unform, looking straight at you and in BLUE.

If I didn't know either candidate and looked at that, I'd vote BUSH all the way.

**I'll PM the pic to anyone who can host it.

Edit: now with pic Thanks Anubis.

Bush is in military uniform? He was in combat like Kerry right?

Red is the colour of Liberals, so no suprise there.

It doesn't matter who I vote for in Virginia, it is going to Bush.

FACT: The media can only be as "liberal" as the conservative corporations that own them.

At best, big media, is at the center regarding most issues, but IMO, in general, they tend to lean conservative on a great many things.

Even NPR is centerist, not liberal, which is why I like them. IMO, they do the best job being objective. (When you take a moment to compare the REAL liberal media, such as Pacifica, etc., to NPR and the other "big guys," you gain a truer perspective of how it really is.)

I heard a Talk Radio guy speaking about this the other day. Apparently GWB is a military hero of some sort. I know that's the first thing that springs to mind when I see him, not like that McCain guy.... < sarcasm meter check, should be pegged.

Yeah, NPR is centerist to me even if other people accuse them of being liberal. I actually heard some right-wing guy doing an editorial on NPR yesterday or the day before.

If I caught you doing so, I'd kick your ass for being an uninformed voter. 😛

Yeah, right. Only uninformed people subscribe to US News.

I assume you're talking about US News and World Report, which is considered by most people I know to have a conservative slant. they do a lot of solid reporting, so it's not like they're fox news or something, but they do present the conservative side of things.

Why what? Virginia is going to Bush because this state is very conservative. My vote won't make a difference in the Presidential election, but I'll still vote.

Im voting for Kerry and I live in Virginia and I got about 10 other people to vote who never voted before. Just go gather some friends and make it happen, although it won't but who knows. I think northern VA = more democratic and all of southern VA = ALL republican
