<< Stupid is a relative word. How do you want to define it?
GPA in school? 3.5-4.0, Ivy League.
Job? Investment bankers, research scientists, law school students, med school students (ironic, eh?), etc. $50,000-100,000/year. At the age of 22-25.
Religion? Lots are Christian, some are Jewish.
Personable? Very friendly, outgoing, fun, and sweet (even off the drugs 🙂 ).
They just have a different take on life, and choose to partake in different "recreational activities." Most have been partying like that for 1-6 years. They're doing just fine... happy, healthy citizens. Way above average, in most cases. They've never cheated, lied, stolen, etc. Good people.
In my opinion, what people do on their own time is their business. If their decisions don't hurt you, you don't have any right to dictate what's "right" or "wrong" for them.
We're all entitled to our own opinions. You can laugh and scream "I told you so!" if one of them OD's someday. Of course, if you'd get any pleasure out of doing that... who's the worse person? >>
