Has anyone here recieved a call from (416)214-9514?

I just got a call from (416)214-9514 and It just hung up when I picked up the phone.
Look at some of the threads on google about this number.
I was just wondering how many of you have recieved calls from this number.

sometimes, when my 'rents call me long distance using their sams/att phone card, i get a call from a random area code. usually 464 or 416. never bothered looking at the rest of the number though.

IIRC, I cleared this up for Fausto before.

That's the source number for London Telecom, a long-distance redirection service. Subscribers call a local number and are routed out through that one to save on long distance.

Well, you have to understand how the system works.

They dial the 7-digit local number to get to long-distance. Their number is now London Telecom's.

Then they dial the number they want to call. Miskey = wrong number dialed. Hang up, but LT already attempting connection. Therefore, you get dead air.

Think of it as just amassing all the "wrong numbers" under one source. :beer:
