<< my parents won a vacation to whistler and turned it down cause they didnt wanna pay the taxes on it. one of my friends in college won the showcase showdown on the price is right this past summer. including a ford escort, a dodge durango, trip to space camp, and a bunch of other crap. it was pretty cool. >>

I see where you get your name from. Personally, i hate people like that.

My wife won an Anna Kournikova calendar and an Anna Kournikova workout video from Lycos.com but she hid them both! 🙁 😉

<< My girlfriend when she took a trip to NY she had the winning piece for the McDonalds game for the $1,000,000.00 dollars. But she was with a bunch of little kids for her modeling pageant and the little kids took no meaning of it and threw it away.

She only realized later that it was the hardest piece to find, the boardwalk piece.

I thought the FBI found out last year that none of the Boardwalk pieces were ever distributed into the public. They arrested like 20 people in connection with it. 2 guys had been keeping the Boardwalks and giving them to their cohorts to get the prize money.

when i was on spring break in Fort Myers Beach, FLorida i won $500 cash from a radio contest in a club. you had to go around asking people in the club a phrase and if you asked the guy that worked for the station, you won the money. i was standing at the back of the bar way away from the stage and all the hoopla and the guy sitting next to me at the bar asked me the phrase, which was "Are you the 103.9 Spring break money maniac?" but he said it wrong and you had to ask it perfect to win the money. well obviously i said no, and ignored him. then i thought about it.....turned and asked him and he said, "as a matter of fact, i am." i was like "HOLY SH!T!" that dude was the only one i asked and i didn't even make an attempt to find him. it ruled. paid for my trip.

I haven't won any thing great, but my brother won a mens 10-speed bike when he was four years old. The cross bar was above his head, it was pretty funny to see him straddle it with his feet two feet off the ground.

I won a full ride scholarship 😀

and yes, it's totally random, it's not because of grades or sports!

Last year my husband and I won about $1500 in prozes from the local mall doing a Valentine's "ultimate couple" contest. Those retards brought in a cheesy minister and tried to make us renew our vows in the mall :Q

I'm up on the casino about 2000 dollars.
I only take 20 with me each time so I'm doing a good job of staying up on them.

I used to buy lotto tickets and never won anything more than about $10. Then one day I found a ticket someone dropped and never scratched off. Was a $35 winner.
I won a 17 1/2 foot fiberglass canoe at a company picnic raffle once. The funny part was a guy I worked with that used to date the woman I was going out with at the time (and who was with me at the picnic) cut in line in front of me and was trying to hit on her. I got the ticket he WOULD have gotten if he hadn't been a ASS and cut in line. 🙂 (Can you say "Instant KARMA"?)

personally I've never won anything big, but a friend of mine won a brand new VW Beetle off of an Oceanspray bottle once. That is about the only incident i can think of. Oh yeah, once I won a free cruise to the bahamas, and 4 days and 3 nights in a hotel there, and of course the cruise back.

my brother won a trip for 4 to bora bora (island off of tahiti) from cartoon network 🙂

ive won a 32" inch tv when i was working at best buy a long time ago. and ive had a bunch of 'almosts' where sometimes the raffle ticket was one number off =\ 😛

edit: forgot a 'w' 😛

I won the car (56 Buick roadster) from that movie "Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead" movie. It was for the video release, and they gave one away to consumers and one away to video dealers. I took the cash value instead ($5000).
