Has anyone here ever tried DVD+RW DL discs?

I bought the discs so I could do monthly backups of my Vista rig. Vista's backup program crashed halfway through after it had written 3.90GB worth of data.

I'm using a Pioneer 110 burner.

Nero can't even format the dsics, and Windows Vista formats them to 4GB.

Is this a hardware compatibility problem?

ProData makes the discs.

I have updtaed my firmware.

They're working in DVD decrypter, and they seem to work just to burn files in Vista. I'll post an update later. I might have just had a bad disc. :light:

You might want to try Verbatim DL media. According to the guys over at cdfreaks.com forum those are "the best" dual layer media you can get. :)
