Hey guys I just need some insight on what is the best to do this. I am pretty confident in the connections and cabling, I am just not sure about the mac address issue and authentication of the router so that two boxes can share the connection. Thanks and please lmk if you can help

With RoadRunner you should be all set....just plug it in and go!
Since most Roadrunner locations allow up to 5 PC's on your one cable modem at a time, the MAC address registration issue most likely wont apply to you.

Give it a whirl!

is that the wireless and wired router? i dont feel like checking....ok i have done these...and no you dont have to worry about the mac adress...

hook evrything up turn on together see if you get the net if not and you get the 169 ip shut everything download 90 or more seconds and reboot and IT WILL WORK unless you did something wrong.

I'm using a linksys BEFSR41 with my roadrunner service, I haven't had any problems and I have 4 computers connected to it which access the internet.
