Has anyone here ever reported an illegal immigrant?

What does the process entail? Can it be done anonymously? Anything I should know before I go through with it?

edit: Got the info I wanted. Mod please lock before this degenerates further.

If the puppy attempted to drain my bank account, absolutely.

did one take your dishwashing or landscaping job?

if one was physically draining your bank account, i would think there would be more law enforcement options other then being deported.

My ex and I did in San Diego about a year and a half back. A restaurant had a bunch of them working for them. So we called it in. About a week later they raided the place and shipped em home. Place closed down and I felt bad.

Probably wouldn't do it again.

It just takes a phone call? Awesome. I'm done here. This can be locked.

Was your experience akin to RichardE's or was it any more in depth?

It's faster if you just shoot them in the face, cut them up into pieces, and feed them into the garbage disposal. The deportation process costs tax dollars.

well, if they are breaking the law, deporting them isn't gonna do too much to stop them from breaking the law.

if it's because they took your dishwashing job: man up.
if this is the case, then:

i'll just pretend you feel threatened and you can't man up to live your own life, so you want to make others pay for your shortcomings. sad.

I never have but definitely would.
Only reason I wouldn't? They brand spankin new and are making efforts to become legal. If they are here illegally, as in, haven't made efforts to legally reside here, then fuck 'em.

Oh right, cause they are breaking the law its ok now...

You mind if I rob your house as long as I use the money to buy food for my kids?

It's all nice till you realize they dont pay insurance and if they hit your car rates go up.

They fill up our public schools, tax dollars, and our education system suffers as a result.

Honestly with all the shortage of jobs right now, maybe if the mexicans weren't taking all the low wage positions I could even get one. I just got laid off last week

i have no clue what you are saying. refer my other post. if they are breaking the law, law enforcement is the answer. deporatation isn't law enforcement, it's a week delay before they come back and do it again.

dam you people are dense.

oh, and i don't mind if you try to rob me. i won't post on here why i shoot you and then call 911. i'll take care of it, and not ask atot opinion with a poll.

do you know what law enforcement will do for an illegal alien:
most likely: deport them
least likely but only other option: put them in an American jail

second option is worse than first option: wasting US taxpayers money to provide food and shelter for a person who doesn't want to make the small effort to become a US citizen.

I'f Im robbing you I'm bringing a gun too

The point is you attack him because maybe a illegal took his job of dishwashing, so thats not a good enough reason to report them? Why the hell not? Oh because its vengefull? No because the guy took his livelyhood in an economy where jobs are hard enough to come by. They want to come here to dishwash, do it legally.

I'm kind of surprised people are defending illegal immigrants. I probably wouldn't ever bother reporting one because I'm pretty apathetic (on this issue, at least), but for those who are inclined to do so, I see no problem with reporting people who are residing in this country illegally.

You don't understand immigration policy do you...

depending on the crime, they serve time then get deported.
a lot of illegals are doing their best to become a US citizen in the only way they know, the way most of our ancestors did. they came here and tried to make it. The imigration and legalization system we have sucks. it is a poor system that needs to be overhauled.

and immigration is probably the last concern taxpayers should have.

Imagine this..

You are working a retail job. You have to make numbers. If you don't then the business you work for won't make profit..

So you need to attach stuff to your sales. That laptop selling below cost isn't going to make any damn money, thats for sure.

Your first customers walk in, they apparently don't speak any English. They point at a laptop and say "I wan dis". So you respond the best way possible: "What made you decide to choose this one? It may not be the best choice for what you're going to use it for, let me make sure it is the correct one.". They say "I send this to Mexico, it doesn't matter".

Fuck it, whatever. Take the fucking thing to Mexico then. They pay you in hundred dollar bills. Then you ask yourself, "how does one get payed 'under the counter'"? Cash apparently.

Next..

Same thing.. again.. and again and again..

Your numbers are poor.. you are threatened to be fired. Now say you lose your job.

Why did you just lose your job? You where busting your ass the whole time. Can we blame illigal imigrants?
