Has anyone here ever placed a phone order with a online code/coupon?

I recently purchased a chair and paperclips from officemax.com via phone, which cost $150 total. I used one of FW's $30 off $150 codes during my purchase, and was told to expect a delivery tomorrow between 8-5. The customer service representative said that when they arrive, they will ask for my coupon - which is a problem, because I used a coupon code and have no physical coupon.

Is it standard practice to ask for the coupon upon delivery of an item ordered by phone?

Is there anything I can say/do/print out before the delivery people arrive tomorrow?

I was thinking about just telling them I left the coupon at work or something like that. I hope they still give me the chair.

I've never done it, but I would assume that the delivery guy could care less about the coupon. I know the pizza delivery guys almost never care. ;)

I was told the same thing before. My package was delivered by UPS iirc, and they didn't care about the coupon.

I've never had to show a coupon on delivery. If you paid by credit card or direct debit then you have already been charged and you have to do nothing, the coupon code should have been entered at the time of the order.
