Has anyone heard anything about a service pack for XP?

The last post I can find on this issue is 2 months old and nobody knew anything back then.

Microsoft recently released Service Pack 1 for Office XP. However, AFAIK, there's no service pack for Windows XP (yet). Of course, the day Windows XP was "officially" released a bunch of XP updates and patches were also made available via Windows Updates. And a bunch of critical updates and security patches were subsequently released.

Service pack 1 for XP is planned for around the time that .NET server ships. So mid summer mostl likely.

The only thing right know is a security patch here.

There is also a Bonus Pack download with some utililties, etc.

Although the exact release date for SP1 is unknown you might be interested in a list of some fixes that are supposed to be included in it.
