Has anyone had any issues with AT&T giving a corporate discount?

I was wondering if anyone has had any issues getting a discount after purchasing a phone from a third-party vendor (Amazon, in this case)? I've just heard issues where they can give issues like charging a fee for applying a discount.

When I first signed up for AT&T (almost 3 years ago) I went through Newegg.

I don't remember if I had to call up AT&T or if Newegg helped get my discount applied, but it was pretty painless.

It used to be free but sometime around a year ago they started charging a free to add the corporate discount. They had a booth at my company during a "benefits" day and I tried to get them to waive it, but they said their couldn't.

You make the fee back obviously, but it does suck.

The other "advantage" is that you get "premier" support.
