Has anyone hacked into a Verizon RAZR phone yet

I suppose some folks have on Howard Forums, but I can?t understand half of what they are saying over there. The folks here have the great ability to talk about technical things in simple language.
I need 3 things correct?
1. Drivers
2. a cable
3. software to look around the phone
 
Its not hard to do. I actually am getting that phone today. I dont have a cable for it but i will get one soon. I hacked into my Samsung A670 so its pretty much the same deal. What are you having issues with?

I have a cable, the one for my Canon camera works perfectly.

I don't have drivers - that RAZR is different form other RAZRs, so the other drivers don't work. I don't know where to get the drivers or how to tell which ones are for which RAZR.

Finally, what software will work with the phone letting me navagate around in it?
 
Good idea, i have a Canon Camera as well and i dont even use the cable. Glad you said that. As for the drivers you can use the E815 drivers. I believe the V710 (my current phone) will work as well for hte drivers.

Software - PST will browse the phone. I will need to do more reading bout what is needed to do what to see if any other software is needed.
 
I will look for all the stuff needed. Shoot me a PM or an email and i can show you how to work the stuff. I need to brush up as well since its been almost a year since i sold my A670.
 
I have a v3c and i dont know what you want to do with it but if you just want to put ring tones and stuff on there you can use the old mobile phone tools cds you just have to set your phone up as the E 815m its a differnt phone but i now have ring tones so im happy... if you find out other ways let me know.

do you have verizon or a GSM carrier, like cingular, att, tmobile, rogers etc

If you have cingular or tmobile you should have a sim card. It should be located under the battery in your phone.

EDIT:OP, you might want to talk to one of these guys.
 
Got mine going last night. Just changed the boot screen and shutdown screen. P2K commander is the best bet but either im doing something wrong or it seems kinda shakey sometimes.
