Has anyone gotten an Athlon XP to work with the latest KG7-Raid Bios?

I am wondering because I was having a heckload of problems when I upgraded and then I switched back one revision and the computer works perfectly now. I want to know if this was a fluke with my motherboard or an actual bios problem.

Not the raid version but the kg7, i have is fine with the 5w bios, that was the latest i think.

make sure that aftert you flash the bios you power down, unplug the ps ac cable and set the jumper to clear cmos data, wait a minute, set jumper back to normal, then set up the bios. it should recognize the axp fine. It seems that the cmos wouldnt clear until i unplugged the ac cable from the back of the power supply.

My problem with the kg7 seems to be a non acpi compliant nic card or cdrom.
anyone know if the creative 52x cdrom (5233e) or the dlink dfe-530tx is acpi compliant or not?

Im ready to chunk this board, but i think I may be getting a little hasty.........

Hmmm. Interesting. I might try flashing to the new bios using your method and see what happens. but you do have the non raid version so it may be different. But most likely not.
