Someone on ABIT forums has pc3500 ram@3200 when he OCs his 2.4C to 300 FSB(using 3:2). he says he's stable all day long, on air w/ 1.55V
I am trying to do the same with my pc3200 (corsair xms C2)...the temps are not much higher than when i'm @ 3.0
one degree difference at most. I have it at 1.6V with my ram's timings relaxed. I'm getting an error when i try to pcmark and i just froze:frown:

The board is IC7 and when i start up the fsb says 299 but with cpuz it shows 300.....so close 😛

I got 274FSB stock voltage, and ram timing with 2700 ram before my system wouldn't post ... I stopped at that point ..

No, you will be extremely lucky to get a stable 300MHz FSB with a 2.4C CPU. You could very likely POST at 300MHz FSB, but forget about getting into Windows or even being able to open IE if you do get into Windows.

Anyone who tells you they're hitting 300MHz FSB reliably is very likely bsing you or they are extremely lucky.

270MHz-285MHz FSB is more realistic.

^im just seeing what was the max, just in case i needed it😉

its back down to 250
but i think its stable at 280 which is really good for the price😀
