Has anyone found that it's almost impossible to uninstall Itunes?

I was going to download the new version of Itunes so I thought I would uninstall the older version first. Well I found out that it was impossible almost. Has anyone else tried to get rid of it with success? I'm running Win XP Pro by the way.

What do you mean by impossible? There's an "uninstall" option on the start menu. I installed and reinstalled it just fine. I just don't understand why it needs to reboot the computer.

Well every time I uninstalled it from the Control Panel/Add-Remove programs it would seem to uninstall just fine and then ask me to reboot afterwards. So after it rebooted it would always be right back there and you could even click the icon and it would start up fine. But it should of been removed completely. I tried several times but the program would always stay installed. It's weird why it wouldn't go away. I tried it several times. Maybe it's because I did not try it from the start menu uninstall like you did. I just found it to be kind of strange behavior and was wondering if anyone else had come across this problem.
