Has anyone ever used a MAC LCD with a PC?

Just curious, we have an extra mac lcd lying around and i know you can get this converter for near 100 and hook it up to a dvi video card....anyone ever try something like this? The mac lcds are awesome, but i didnt know if there were any compatibility issues?

colour contrast, brightness and everything is controled under software in mac OS so you may not get the right colours displayed even after fiddling with your vid card settings. Other than that there is no problems with the monitor at all.

Don't be angry when you find out that the monitor's performance is 400% worse than any comparable PC monitor, even though you paid 3 times more than you normally would for the same product.

Hehe, I was ripping on the Mac fanatics who convince themselves (through Mac cult gatherings) that Macs are superior to PCs in EVERY way and that the insane prices are justifiably fair.

(Although, the Mac LCD monitors are very cool, I will admit - but very pricey)
