Go to techbargains.com and look at the deal they have on one now. Supposedly they use Lite-On parts. From what I recall they are well thought of. Good Luck!

Well, I have a BusLink 16x DVD-ROM drive and it shows up as Lite-On during boot up. That's all I know..

I'm also wondering about BusLink CD-RWs since I might pick up one this weekend at Best Buy.

I pickuped 2 BusLinks when BB ran them cheap and I needed them over the past year. One was a rebadged Liteon 24X10X40 the other a rebadged Acer 40x12x48.

My buslink 48x12x48 that I just got from BB on black Friday for $29.00 is actually a Liteon 48x24x48, works great although I worry A little bit when the tray closes because it sometimes makes a scrapping noise. Other than that it seems to be ok. Good luck with yours!

RE:"I think it's ACER"

BENQ is ACER. Buslink is a rebagger of various drive manufacturers...
