Has anyone ever had laser surgery performed on their pet?

I have a Himalayan cat with some breathing difficulty due to small nostrils and laser surgery is one way to correct this. I have spoken with one potential vet and was very impressed with him after our conversation. All of the reading I've done online so far is positive but I still plan on calling a number of vets. I'm concerned about the anesthesia more than anything. The cat is about 3.5 years old.

Any AnandTech expertise in this area?

At first, I interpreted your thread title as "has anyone ever had COSMETIC surgery performed on their pet?" If somebody has, he or she is a PATHETIC human. IMO, of course.
