If so, how did they taste?

My boss is taking out my coworkers and I to celebrate making our numbers again this year, and we're going to a Thai restaurant that specializes in "authentic exotic cuisine". Ants, crickets and scorpions are on the menu, and I'm curious about what they taste like.
 
Go find some bugs in your bag yard and cook em up. I make it a point not to eat anything I step on when I see. Yuck, just order some pad-thai noodles.
 
When I was a boy, my friend's mom was Thai, and she used to catch and fry up grasshoppers. IIRC, she just kinda sauteed it in a little butter, then ate it. Weird thing to see when you're six years old.
She also slept in the nude :Q (also surprised me when I acidentally walked in on her)
