Has anyone ever been in Detroit Metro Airport (DTW)?

I don't really have much to add, it's all been said, but man.. that connecting tunnel is trippy as Hell.

No kidding. Felt like I was at a Pink Floyd concert.

I have a friend that's very sensitive to flashing lights (she gets dizzy and sick to her stomach) and she was panicking about having to go through there on our trip to Vegas last year. So we just had her close her eyes and guided her through the tunnel, though obnoxiously not without trying to have her get on the motorized walkway going the wrong direction.

I've flown through there for international flights probably 20+ times...always on Northwest (Delta)/KLM. There is nothing tricky about it AT ALL. One of the easiest airports I can think of.

so if she was panicking about having to go through there, i assume she was completely mortified when she got to Vegas? LOL!
