Has anyone else ever played a game so much that they started to have dreams about it

Ok lol this has only happened to me three times. I may just be crazy here but I have been playing a ton of State Of Decay and last night I had the craziest dreams ever about this game. This has only happened to me two other time and that was when I was really into skyrim and WoW.

So I am just curious has anyone else ever had this issue before

Yes. When I first played Quake I dreamt about Ogres and Shamblers coming after me.

Yes, Eve Online and Megaman are two that come to mind.

I know there are others that were definitely game influenced.

dungeon keeper 2, I think I could hear the noise of tiles switching to my color when I was lying in bed trying to sleep

Happens to me all the time, though they are usually frustrating dreams. Like I'll dream about Minecraft, but my build just won't work right or something and I'll wake up frustrated. Or I'll dream that I can't do a simple rocket jump in TF2.

Happens easily if you play late into the night. Especially if you go to sleep because you just dropped dead tired as opposed to the game ending. lol

Yeah a few games did that to me, the STALKER games (especially just prior to the release of the first since I was that much hyped for it that I had one or two dreams about it), the Dragon Age and Mass Effect series and probably a few others I can't remember anymore but I know it happens from time to time.

Usually I dream of games I imagine up in my head while I lay trying to sleep. I have all kinds of awesome ideas and plots for games and new control schemes that would keep it more seamless to the player. If I ever dreamed of a game I played then I don't recall it.
