Has anyone bought refurbished Viewsonic monitors? Good Idea?

I personally don't mind to buying refurb stuff if the model is still in production. The only time I insist on getting new is when there might be a chance that I might sell it again... Same warranty, same product really....
 
I purchased my wife a refurb P115 Viewsonic 21" monitor for only $495 from egghead about 8 months ago. It arrived in perfect condition with absolutly nothing wrong. It's run flawlessly since. It came with a 1 yr warranty also. It is one great monitor, especially for the money, cause at the time it was retailing for between $1200- $1400. Good bargin i think! She loves it.
