Has anyone bought Ace Combat 6 with the flightstick?

Well i just bought Ace Combat 6 with the flightstick and the guilt is setting in. I haven't opened it yet, want to, but don't know if I should keep it or not. I used to have Ace Combat 5 with the flightstick for PS2 and loved it. So, I just happened to have $160 and I bought this thing basically on impulse.

Has anyone played it yet? Is it worth it? Should I keep it?

yeah i know the game seems not that fun without a stick.

But 160 for just one game is pushing it in my book. Good flight games are hard to come by. You'll have to play the hell out of the game to make it worth that much money.

Yeah I just don't think I could pay that for a controller and one game. Yeah there might be other games to take advantage of the controller but not many.

If you think you'll get plenty upon plenty of hours of use out of it, keep it. However, if it will be a game that you'll put 10 hours into and be done, take it back while you can.

Well, I didn't agree with the voters and opened. I'm at the third mission and the game is awesome. The visuals are better than ANY flight sim I've seen on the PC.

More arcade-ish than most prefer, but it's a blast to play. Another feature that guarantees it to be better than Ace Combat 5 is xbox live. I can't wait to spray the 5 year olds with 20mm lead while screaming a string of profanity.

Is it worth $160? No, but I wouldn't have bought the game without the flight stick.

Another plus is that thier are reports that the flight stick can be used in Windows.

Its gotten pretty poor reviews. Id at least try to play it somewhere first.

The game is awesome, enjoying it, am going to pass on the flight stick. Am sticking with Flight Simulator X for.

I'm going to pass on the flight stick, but the demo was excellent. I'll probably get it this weekend.

If you haven't played the game yet, d/l the demo and try it out with the regular controller to see how you like it. The demo seemed cool and easy to play with the controller. I wouldn't spend the money on the stick and throttle.

As a person who bought the flight stick and tried the controls I gotta tell you it is just more fun with the stick. It just makes the game more immersive, especially when you have 5.1 sound and you can hear the enemy planes swooping by your sides!

Thats a tough call. I played forza, and PGR and loved them and knew the wheel would extend my playtime. and I know ill keep coming back for more.

Flight stick same thing, id rent it or buy the game see if love it and then move on to next step
