Has anyone bought a car through CarsDirect.com?

Im just wondering if anyone has, their prices dont seem too bad..

also anyone know who owns them..or are they just a way for dealers to get ur number and then pull the bait and switch

When my mom bought her Galant, my dad went on Carsdirect just to get a price. When they went to the dealer, they were the Carsdirect affiliate so the salesmanager gave them the same price no questions asked...

I used carsdirect prices to bargain with my car dealer. They were not a carsdirect affiliate.

Bought my 98 Intrepid through them. It was the best car buying experience I've had. I ordered the car the way I wanted it, got it a ways below the price on a window at a dealer with similiar options, and they delivered it to the street in front of my house.

The next time I buy a car, I will definitely check them out again.
