has anyone bothered to put a heatsink on this...

i was wondering if any one has put a heatsink on the ICH5 controller on a intel chipset mobo?

Maybe its jus a dumb question. i guess tho if you dont have a PCI card that interferes with it it wouldnt hurt.
All thought i dont think it really gets that hot .

Also was wondering if there is anybody who has put a heatsink onto there Creative Audigy cards? not sure that is would really make a dif but if you play sound continuously for many hours straight would it help it from ever getting jarbled?

I now heat is a Computers worst enemy so i suppose every little bt helps

Unless something is really heating up in your system, I wouldn't bother putting a Heatsink on it. I have never had a problem with either the ICH5 or my Audigy 2, under extensive stress testing or at idle.

ya i think its just going alittle heatsink crazy, ahahahaha, .........not worth the trouble.
