Has anyone besides me be banned from hardforums?

Most of the forums are turdy, but they have some specific forums which are good. In particular the hobbies board (firearms, airsoft) and the games forum. Very busy. Wish our software forum was as busy with game info

I like being able to post pics in threads, but I understand the overhead and the abuse that comes with it

I got banned as well, and Kyle Bennet sent me two emails, both simply said "Thanks" (one of them contained a computer virus, whether or not it was sent intentionally is hard to say) Whats pathetic is the fact that I am a Trollhunter and I often helped some of the people at Hardocp recover thier goods or money, and the way they Thank me is to Ban me.

Getting banned for showing my support for Heat23 and the good people at Trollhunters.com (AND YES THE OWNER OF HEATWARE AND ALL THE TROLLHUNTER from TROLLHUNTERS.COM HAVE BEEN BANNED FROM HARDocp

(I have the original thread from Hardocp saved to disk before it was removed)

Apparently when I mention the TROLL dr chaotica (THE ex-HARDocp Moderator turned Troll) they had enough of me, but I was polite and didnt break any TOS rules.

My prediction is that Kyle Bennet shuts down the Hardocp's For Sale/For Trade section of his site within 8 weeks, as he doesnt give a hoot about the current Troll infestation manifesting itself there, and he removed them in the past and I suspect thats what he will do again in the not so short future.

To be honest if it gets shut down that would be bad as I am a Moderator/Trollhunter at another site, and that would mean that the Troll runnoff would spill into other forums like Anandtech and elsewhere.


Its truly a shame that Hardocp treats people like this as they dont seem to care about the members. I can live with being banned as It's no great loss and I definitly wont miss going there. The primary reason for going there in the first place was to do Troll research (Well to be honest I did about 75% of my research there as it was Troll Mecca)

Only reason I ever go there is for the case mod threads...which is actually reasonably monitored imo. Excellent resource for anything technical as well. But beyond that, the board's attitude runs high, and is infested with self indulgent suburbanite children.

I have found the Admins and Mods to be extremelly tolerant. Perhaps those who get banned should examine the topic and their responses.

On the other hand, they Ad's and Mods might just be arbitrarily banning people for no reason. Figure it out.

FYI: Only admins and super mods have the ability to ban users
