Went you get down to < 10 mines there's always the situation where you just have to pick randomly between 2 places. Anyway I believe my fastest was 108 on expert. Of course, my idea of playing mine sweeper is to start by randomly clicking like 30 times, and if I don't die, then a lot of the field is cleared, and then I'll play serious :)

I was just like a rat on crack, until I finally beat it. Since then, no more addiction.

I've tried the beginner's level and intermediate level, but I've never tried the expert game.

But since you mentioned it, I'll try it tomorrow and see how well I do! :D

<< yup...in 91 seconds... >>

Yikes! That's faster than I can even contemplate. My own best time is 124 seconds. Can't imagine how you can click fast enough to go sub-100.

Hey my fastest time was about 187 I think.

The trick for me is to start the game by clicking all four buttons in the corners. When it comes down to the end of the game it really helps to have those four exposed, because the corners can be the hardest part.

That is so true!!! I have had instances on beginner and intermediate level where I figured out the clean spots but got stuck on the corners. The problem was that there were two possible ways it could have have been arranged. So, it is indeed wise to start with the corners. But I always get worried, for what if there's a mine in one of the boxes at the corners? Imagine having to do that over and over again until you get a game that suits you.

I just started playing minesweeper, so I'm not really good at it. The best I got at beginner's level was about 35 secs and about 287 secs for intermediate level. :)

used to be my favorite game..

intermediate time was 31 secs

haha
beat that~~
>>

i posted earlier in this thread with 91 on the expert level...i checked my intermediate score...32! like i said before...those scores were on old computers...i can't even come close to them anymore...at least 20 secs off now...

beginner is useless...the best score you can get is 1 cause there will be times when you just click the first tile and it beats it...i think the only reason playing beginner is to get that 1 score...i haven't done it yet...but i haven't played it in awhile cause it's boring...expert is the best...haha

I have gotten down to 2 secs on beginner, it took about 3 clicks. got lucky there. I forget what my other times on intermediate and expert were. Was in a little competition at work with someone, use to go into the high score file and edit it. He kept freaking out when I would always beat his scores. He did do pretty good keeping up though.

Yeah....Minesweeper is easy.

72 seconds on expert for me;
26 for intermediate,
1 for beginner (that was lucky).
