See, I THOUGHT that too, but look at the comparisons further in the article. For the DBA produced and the temps it delivers not even the xp-90C can compare. Yes it does cost a little more though.
 
Um, you did notice that it was using a 115CFM 120mm fan, right?! :shocked:
 
awesom roundup, looks like they put tons of work into it. Never heard of that heatsink berfore today. It put up some impressive numbers though. Looks like it beat out the xp-120 on a lot of the tests (slightly)

but the roundup can't be valid, as they didn't have my TT Beetle in the group. I'll put my heatsink against any 😉

Please please look at the noise comparison and cooling performance. They also put a vantec tornado on the xp-90 which is good for almost the same CFM. So for the same CFM, less noise and almost if not better cooling, are you saying the Shogun is not good? I dont have this cooler, but it sure looks like a great setup.
