Has anybody updated their 3G to 4.0 / unlocked ?

Thinking about doing it but not sure if all my apps will be compatible or if there are any "issues" with the 4.0 on a unlocked iphone ?

Also do I need a certain version of itunes for the older 3.12 F.W. ?

Everything works fine. The only problem is if you enable multitasking you're going to have a lot of sluggish problems.

I upgraded my 3G to iOS 4.0 and then unlocked it so I could sell it more quickly on Craigslist. I can't speak to app compatibility (as I wiped the phone), but it seemed to run fine.

EDIT: Just wanted to add it was my first time jailbreaking an iPhone and it was incredibly simple...took like 10 minutes.
