I'm trying to setup a dual boot with WinXp and Mandrake 9.1. I get both Operating systems installed fine. But when I go into linux my Caps and Scroll Lock light blink at me. What's going on???😕
 
No idea. But...

Keyboard works fine?
When in *Nix the caps lock works?
Is this a standard keyboard or a special style or type, multimedia etc.?
USB keyboard?

There are some things that pop up on google when searching for Caps Lock Linux
Looking around for you.
 
Yeh they're blinking to alert you that the kernel either panic'd or dropped into the debugger, if you're in X or at the X login you won't be able to see the error message.
 
Some things including the PCI bus don't get reset during a reboot. Try a shutdown & cold start when switching.
